Role description:

The Billing Manager is responsible for overseeing the billing team and providing effective
guidance. They manage the day-to-day operations ensuring efficient resource utilization
accurate and timely invoicing and proper workload distribution. The Billing Manager
provides leadership to the team about operational matters and works closely with Business
Lines/Billing POCs on the defined KPIs and SLAs based on the scope of work. Additionally
they assist the Project to Cash Manager in achieving exceptional client service in the region
and cost-effectiveness. They collaborate with various internal teams to streamline billing
processes and implement best practices

Role accountabilities:

  • Provides quality customer service for your project teams.
  • Review Oracle contract setups with checklist
  • Address validation reports
  • Monitor billers validation reports
  • Submit Revise Finalize and mail Final invoice packages or upload to client portals.
  • Pull backup (as needed)
  • Complete monthly task checklist
  • Track Aged Unbilled or WIP Report
  • Promotes an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
  • Manages all direct line reports in accordance with company procedures and standards.
  • Drives the team towards achieving goals and targets.
  • Performs staff reviews and recommends staff training development.
  • Keeps management updated on team performance.
  • Manages stakeholders requirements and expectations.
  • Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals.
  • Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training.
  • Reviews and consolidates team metrics monthly.
  • Ensures proper utilization of resources.
  • Reinforce and strengthen GSSC Business Continuity Plan

Qualifications & experiences:

  • The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a related industry.
  • Graduate of BS in Accountancy or its equivalent CPA is an advantage.
  • Exposure to a shared service or multinational environment
  • Experience with ERP systems like Oracle SAP and Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel Outlook PowerPoint and Word) is required.
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Language including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization.
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Proactive a committed team player and can motivate other team members.
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and make informed judgments in the context of billing operations.
  • Oriented toward achieving success and favorable outcomes.
  • Proven strategic planning experience at management level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Ability to multitask and can work under pressure.
  • Motivational and strong relationship building skills.
  • Can work on flexible hours to meet changing work environment and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in Project Management and Billing
