A Caring Alternative isseeking an experienced director with outstanding people skills to manage our child services departments in the Morganton/Marion/Spruce Pine areas.

Duties for the Child Services Director will include providing supervision to Program Managers and Team Leads plan and incorporate growth assist with development of program budgets and review monthly financialreports ensure departments meet productivitytargets ensure departments have all services authorized and billable oversee the daily operations of the departments and ensureprograms are effective efficient and aligned to overall business objectives.

The ideal candidate for this role should have an understanding of the community mental health field or other similar work experiences possess a high work ethics excellent communication skills and computer literacy.

Education and Experience Required:

• A bachelors degree in Special Education Psychology Social Work or closely related Human Services area
• 2 years of professional work experience with population served.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Exceptional written oral interpersonal and organizational skills. High level proficiency in Microsoft Office- MS Word Excel Access and PowerPoint. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

A Caring Alternative LLC is CABHA certified and a Trauma Informed Agency. We provide an array of services to Alexander Buncombe Burke Catawba Caldwell Iredell McDowell and Mitchell counties which consist of Assertive Community Treatment Team Community Support Team Day Treatment Integrated Care Intensive In-Home Medication Management Outpatient Therapy and Therapeutic Foster Care.
