Position Summary
Scheduling willbe responsible forcreatingmonitoring and analyzing project scheduling activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This positionis responsible forthe following: Other duties may be assigned.
Maintains/monitorsscheduleforallassignedprojects.
Developsproject schedulesfrom bids.
Engagesproject managers and superintendents to develop project schedulesstatusand performance.
Developsspecific item schedules as dictated by project requirements.
BuildsPackage/Systems Schedule including logic critical path float resource loading weighting etc.
Producesearly/late planned progress curvesmanpowerhistograms.
Managechanges to the schedulesandkeepproject managers and superintendents aware of impact changes to the schedule and portfolio. Preparesand attendsscheduled meetings asrequired.
Provides weekly updates to respective project managerspertaining tothestatus of projects.
Keepsthe schedules updated throughout the life of the project generating reportsidentifyingdeviations etc.
Performother duties and services to ensure successfulprojectsaredeliveredand clientsaresatisfied.
Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelors degreeinrelevantdiscipline (engineeringtechnology management).
Two (2) years of experience in Project Scheduling using MS Projectand/or Primavera.
Minimum ofsix(6) years of experience in project controls.
Minimum ofsix(6) years of experience in shipbuilding/repair planning.
Know and able to apply scheduling and progress methodologies and methods as contained in the AACE and PMI (PMBok) standard practice.
Experience withvarious typesof projects such as new construction modular fabrication and repair work.
Strong knowledge of Earned Value Measurement in engineering procurement fabrication & construction (CPI SPI EAC etc.)
Working Conditions:
Periodicexposure to all weather conditions especially hot humid and / or rainy weather combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.

Office equipment including telephone fax machine scanner computer printer

Excellent interpersonalcommunicationand presentationskills
Ability to manage multiple schedules and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate with different departments in a multidisciplinary environment.
