Job Title: Radiation Therapist Radiation Oncology (Travel)
Facility: CaroMont Regional Medical Center
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days 8 Hours (Preferred: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Standard: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Position Overview
We are seeking a Travel Radiation Therapist (ARRT-RTT) to support a busy outpatient Radiation Oncology department within a comprehensive Cancer Center. The department provides high-volume high-quality radiation therapy services in a collaborative clinical environment.
Department Details
Key Responsibilities
Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
Operate linear accelerators and CT simulation equipment safely and efficiently.
Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment verification.
Monitor patients during treatment and respond appropriately to clinical needs.
Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and departmental protocols.
Document treatments accurately within ARIA and EPIC systems.
Collaborate with physicians dosimetrists physicists and oncology nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
ARRT Registered Radiation Therapist (RTT) Required
Active state licensure (if applicable)
Experience in outpatient Radiation Oncology preferred
Familiarity with ARIA and EPIC systems strongly preferred
