Job Summary

Looking for a senior accounting role without the burnout

Our client based in the Palm Beach area is a successful professional and technical services consultancy servicing a niche sector. Were seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant / Financial Accountantto lead their finance function and work closely with the Managing Director.

This is a key role overseeing financial operations while being supported by an Assistant Accountant who manages payroll and transactional accounts.

What Youll Be Doing:

Lead month-end and year-end processes
Prepare management reports budgets & cash flow forecasts
Oversee BAS payroll tax FBT & compliance obligations
Maintain financial controls and systems
Support audit processes and liaise with external accountants
Provide financial insight to support business decisions

What Were Looking For:

35 years experience in a Financial/Senior Accountant role
Strong knowledge of Australian tax GST FBT & payroll tax
Experience with MYOB Reckon or similar
High attention to detail with a proactive mindset
Accounting degree (CA/CPA desirable but not essential)
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
