TheSales Lead is a key resource and part of a small management team responsible for daily site operations and to ensure employee and member satisfaction enforcing company standards and achieving desired financial results. This position reports to the general manager and requires work to be performed in person at the assigned location.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Essential Duties:

• Protect the interests of the Company and profitably grow the business.
• Be the best first impression when you greet guests as they pull into the pay lane.
• Always be friendly and courteous!
• Make recommendations on the best wash package that matches our guests needs and promote our Unlimited Membership to all that come to the window.
• Actively participate in weekly meetings with Team Leaders to address various operational aspects including sales promotions and staff-related matters.
• Claiming guest accounts
• Maintain a safe secure clean and well-maintained business environment.
• Manage POS and computer-related systems tasks efficiently.
• Perform any additional tasks that benefit the company and enhance the Member/Guest experience.
• Any additional tasks that pertain to benefiting the company and taking care of the guests
• Assist with sales training for other team members
• Step in to work other positions if needed

Essential Physical Functions:

This job operates in a professional retail environment. Car wash operating hours are Monday through Sunday from 7:00am - 9:00pm. This role routinely operates in all areas of the car wash facility including both indoor and outdoor work. The job work environment is fun clean and fast-paced.

This role routinely operates in all areas of the car wash facility including both indoor and outdoor work. The job works 5 to 7 days per week on site and works 30-40 hours per week. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency.
• Able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery etc.
• Able to effectively communicate (both orally and in writing) detect converse with discern convey express oneself and exchange information.
• Able to move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work and commute in all weather conditions.
• Able to walk bend twist turn stoop climb steps reach with hands use hands to fingers.
• Continual standing moving and walking for several consecutive hours during shift which comprises 80% of daily duties. Remain stationary for approximately 20% of daily duties.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-2 years of sales experience required
• Proven experience in a successful customer service role.
• Exceptional verbal and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Successful completion of Tommys University training program preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency including but not limited to point of sale system and Google Workplace applications such as Google Office and email.
• Hard working enthusiastic and energetic!
• Experience working as a Shift Lead or Team at Tommys Car Wash Express is preferred.
