Position Summary:
The Dip Operator is responsible for the execution of the entirety of the dip process. This includes dip tank and dryer operation part movement/staging and completion of required paperwork.
Essential Functions:
- Follow written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Dip Machines.
- Produce quantities within set standards of each part number identify core defects and maintain accurate records (routers CQCS etc)
- Operate dip tanks
- Test dip tanks to procedure standards
- Load ceramics cores into racks
- Load racks into dip tanks/dryers belts
- Safely operator belt dryer
- Move product throughout the plant per router
- Complete all required documentation accurately
- Meet department productivity and yield standards
- Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures.
- Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S
- Other duties as assigned by supervision
Required Skills:
- Ability to follow procedures
- Good organization skills
- Ability to communicate in writing and verbally
- Ability to move/lift up to 35 pounds continually
Experience & Education
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic Geometry Knowledge
