Job Summary
Job Title: Stationary Engineer / Plant Operator
Location: Annandale NJ
Pay: $37.25 $40.00 per hour (Higher rate considered for Gold Seal)
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Parking: Free onsite
Interviews: 1st Round Virtual 2nd Round In-Person
Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain a central utilities plant in Annandale NJ. This role is responsible for ensuring safe efficient and reliable plant operations with a strong focus on uptime compliance and asset protection.
License Requirement
Minimum Blue Seal Stationary Engineer License (NJ) required.
Red or Gold Seal licenses accepted.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain central plant equipment including turbines boilers chillers cooling towers pumps air compressors and auxiliary systems
Monitor building automation systems (Honeywell preferred)
Perform inspections preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
Maintain daily logs and compliance documentation
Support reliability-based maintenance programs
Oversee contractors and enforce safety standards
Ensure regulatory compliance with all applicable codes
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Active NJ Blue Red or Gold Seal Stationary Engineer License
Strong mechanical knowledge of plant utilities and HVAC systems
Ability to lift 50 lbs. climb ladders and work in an industrial environment
Willingness to support additional shifts as needed
