We are looking for aSalesPortfolio ManagerEnvironmental Commodities(Australia Market)to join our rapidly growing Renewable Energy & Environmental Commodities business.
As a member of thesalestrading team you will play a key role in expanding STXs footprint acrossAustraliasEnvironmental Commoditiesmarkets developing client relationships executing structured transactions and driving commercial growth in both voluntary and compliance will work in a highly dynamic international trading environment collaborating closely withSales Trading Research & Analysis and Originationteams globally.
Beinga Sales Trader you playan important rolein driving the business this highly competitive marketyoullconstantlyengage withprospective clients to fully grasp theirneeds andapply strategic thinking to tailor-makesolutions that cater to these requirements. This role entails exposure to a broad spectrum of professionals at all levels as well as to companies from various industries and markets. By working strategically to offer clients sustainable solutions you genuinely help them move forward towards a greener future.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing sourcing and trading strategies for the Australian renewable energy markets.
- Be the lead in driving our Corporate Environmental Demand Products demand activities
- Expandingour existing customer portfolio byidentifyingand following up on new leads.
- Identify structure and execute innovative commercial and trading solutions tailored to client needs. Executetransactions in various Australian Environmental Commodities Products.
- Analyzing data and conducting research on the Australian environmental commodities market(supply-demand drivers regulatory frameworks )
- Support market development initiatives and represent STX inAustraliasrenewable energy markets.
- Acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact to new and existing clients
- Building strong relationships with key counterparties
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of working experience within a sales trading businessdevelopmentor account management role in Australia / Singapore
- Exposure to the AustralianEnergy Markets including exposure to utilitiesrenewables carbon and (or) energy efficiency
- Bachelors degree (or higher)
- Fluent in English
- Essential commercial and entrepreneurial attitude
- Analytical and strategic thinking
- Attentive and empathetic approach
- Collaborative work style
