About the role: Director of Marketing and Promotions


  • Employment Type:Full Time
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Remuneration: commensurate with experience and qualifications


Position Summary


The Director of Marketing and Promotions will lead the Colleges marketing communications and public relations efforts overseeing branding digital and print media events and Alumni engagement to ensure a consistent high-quality public image.

Key Duties

  • General leadership and strategic planning
  • Marketing strategy development and execution
  • Coordination of events and functions
  • Publications and communications management
  • Alumni engagement and development
  • Staff liaison and employee relations
  • Other duties as required to support the College


Selection Criteria:

Applicants must demonstrate:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing Business Communications or related field (masters preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute long-term marketing strategies aligned with organisational goals
  • Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns (digital offline events partnerships)
  • Experience managing promotional programs and brand campaigns
  • Strong understanding of digital channels: SEO SEM social media email automation analytics and content marketing
  • Experience managing motivating and developing cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with Executive and Leadership Teams

  • Model the use of appropriate and proper channels of communication.
  • Always act in the best interest of the College and its ethos.
  • Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment in line with the Colleges values and policies.
  • Working with children card
  • National Police Clearance
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy workplace by:
  • Following WH&S instructions and policies
    Reporting accidents and hazards
    Generally caring for own safety and that of others including volunteers students and parents.
    First Aid certificate.
