Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure the quality of software products
- Test Metrics: Define collect and analyze test metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the testing process
- Governance: Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices and provide governance over the testing process
- Release Management: Coordinate and manage software releases ensuring that all quality standards are met before deployment
- Defect Management: Oversee the defect management process including defect tracking reporting and resolution
- Agile Methodologies: Work within agile teams to integrate testing activities into the development process
- Jira Management: Utilize Jira for test case management defect tracking and project management
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of testers providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
- Testing Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of test cases test scripts and test results to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Test Data Management: Manage and maintain test data to ensure it is accurate relevant and secure
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business and product owners to conduct walkthroughs and ensure alignment on testing requirements and outcomes
