What Youll Do

Job Title: Contract Welder/Fabricator

Location: Fairfield Ohio

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Contract Welder/Fabricator to join our team at our Fairfield Ohio location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components to create high-quality products according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints schematics and detailed drawings.
- Operate welding equipment such as MIG TIG and stick welders.
- Fabricate metal components and structures from raw materials.
- Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to ensure quality and specifications compliance.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in MIG TIG and stick welding techniques.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Experience with various metals including stainless steel aluminum and carbon steel.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in welding is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
- AWS certification is a plus.
