The Welder Fabricator 1 will utilize metal inert gas (MIG) while welding steel and aluminum. This role will weld and assemble metal pieces and products by using handheld welding equipment. The role will set up parts for welding use hand tools clamps jigs and fixtures.

What you will be doing:

Perform MIG & TIG welding on products.
Perform cosmetic welding on products.
Must be able to meet daily productivity and output goals.
Set up components for welding according to specifications work orders and/or prints.
Repair product and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.

Education and Experience Needed:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
Proficient using hand and power tools.
Basic welding experience required.
Experience building trailers preferred.
