Summary

Provides hands-on execution support for standard network remediation activities under guidance of senior engineers. Performs device changes using established runbooks collects evidence and supports metrics and service level agreement inputs.

Essential functions

• Execute approved firmware upgrades and configuration hardening tasks following standard operating procedures and change plans.

• Perform pre-check and post-check validations collect evidence and document outcomes accurately.

• Support remediation task tracking follow-ups for failed changes and coordination of repeat attempts.

• Maintain accurate inputs for reporting on remediation completion success rates and schedule adherence.

Required qualifications

• Two or more years of direct hands-on network operations experience in production environments.

• Experience working within formal change windows and following documented implementation plans.

Preferred qualifications

• Hospital information technology experience strongly preferred; broader healthcare experience preferred.

• Certifications desirable: Cisco Certified Network Associate or equivalent.

Work schedule expectations

• Participation in scheduled after-hours change windows as required.

EDUCATION:

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable high-speed internet connection is required for all remote/hybrid positions.

• Must have access to stable Wi-Fi with sufficient bandwidth to support video conferencing cloud-based tools and other online work-related activities.

• A HIPAA-compliant work environment is required including a secure workspace free from unauthorized access or interruptions no use of public Wi-Fi unless connected through a secure company-provided VPN and compliance with all applicable HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
