Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Analyst to oversee inventory performance across multiple sites within EMEA. This role focuses on optimizing inventory mix reducing slow and non-moving inventory and supporting working capital improvement while maintaining high customer service availability.

The Inventory Analyst will play a key role in supporting budgeting processes monitoring inventory performance metrics and driving strategic initiatives that balance stock availability with inventory efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve inventory mix performance across regions without creating overstock or stock shortages.

  • Lead initiatives aimed at reducing slow-moving and non-moving inventory to free working capital.

  • Support and facilitate inventory-related budgeting processes for NDC/DC operations.

  • Implement inventory improvement strategies aligned with customer service objectives.

  • Maintain inventory budget frameworks and supporting processes.

  • Provide customer-centric inventory support across the EMEA region.

  • Monitor performance metrics and regularly report results to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and support leadership teams through data-driven insights and recommendations.

Tactical Responsibilities

  • Support development and execution of Inventory Mix Optimization initiatives.

  • Own and maintain the Group Inventory Health Dashboard.

  • Collect and analyze performance data from multiple internal systems and sources.

  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly NDC stock performance reports.

  • Track performance of strategic stock programs including key machine stock initiatives.

  • Facilitate quarterly budget processes including:

    • ABC and segmentation calculations

    • Safety stock parameter analysis

    • Overstock over lead time evaluation

    • C-stock management processes

    • Obsolete inventory monitoring and reduction strategies

  • Track monitor and report KPI performance related to inventory optimization initiatives.

Key Objectives

  • Improve customer service availability levels across all entities.

  • Reduce overstock relative to lead time.

  • Minimize C-stock inventory.

  • Reduce obsolete inventory levels.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving mindset.

  • Advanced statistical and data analysis capabilities.

  • Strong cross-functional communication skills across multiple organizational levels.

  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration abilities.

  • Strong planning organization and execution skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with strict deadlines.

  • High proficiency in written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics supply chain or inventory management.

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business or related field preferred.

Travel Requirements

  • Approximately 1520 days of travel per year.
