The Europe Seeds Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for leveraging multiple data sources to monitor daily supply chain execution generate performance KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role plays a key part in cost control budget tracking and data-driven decision-making to optimize warehousing and transportation flows. The Logistics Analyst also ensures performance and compliance monitoring of external transportation providers including service quality and transport safety data.
Accountabilities
Supply Chain Execution & Performance Monitoring
- Define produce and maintain logistics KPIs (service level cost productivity inventory transport performance etc.)
- Monitor daily logistics and supply chain execution using data from ERP TMS WMS and other operational systems
- Track warehouse capacities utilization bottlenecks
- Track transport execution performance
- Ensure data accuracy consistency and timely availability for operational and management reviews
- Identify deviations risks and inefficiencies in logistics flows
- Propose & follow up on corrective actions with service providers when performance deviates from targets
- Ensure proper collection monitoring and reporting of transport safety and loading security data
Business Insights
- Analyze trends and root causes
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence projects through data analysis and performance tracking
- Provide weekly/monthly insight packs to Logistics Operations Lead & Transport/Warehouse Manager
- Support tender analysis carrier performance reviews and warehousing strategy with data
Decision Support
- Supply data for allocation decisions contingency planning peak season planning
- Run scenario analyses when needed (warehouse constraints shipment peaks transport delays)
Cost & Budget Analysis
- Track logistics budgets and monitor cost evolution (transport warehousing handling inventory related costs)
- Perform detailed cost analyses and variance analysis versus budget and forecasts
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize logistics costs and improve cost-to-serve
- Support decision-making related to storage strategies transport modes and network optimization
Qualifications :
Required
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Logistics Engineering Business or a related field
- Fluent English language knowledge French language knowledge nice to have
- 25 years of experience in logistics supply chain analytics or a similar analytical role
- Experience working with logistics service providers is a strong advantage Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerBI skills
- Knowledge of ERP/TMS/WMS systems
- Solid understanding of logistics cost structures and supply chain KPIs
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights Structured detail-oriented and results-driven mindset
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
