Position Mission:Objective

Role Mission: The Power Origination & Structuring Manager is responsible for leading the origination negotiation and structuring of PPAs with Large B2B clients including corporate offtakers large industrials and commercial customers; while procuring qualified supply portfolio needs. This role combines deep knowledge of wholesale electricity markets risk analysis structuring models and customer needs to design competitive solutions that support the companys commercial growth.

Your Impact:

As Origination & Structuring Manager you will directly contribute to the areas objectives by participating in key activities such as:

Origination strategy

  • Identify. develop and close new business opportunities with B2B industrial data commercial and large corporate clients.
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with key clients developers brokers and market participants.
  • Lead commercial discussions for PPA and structured supply products with multi-technology mixed products.
  • Translate customer needs into commercial and operative solutions that maximize margin and competitiveness.

Structuring and deal design

  • Design customized commercial structures including:
    • Long-term renewable physical PPAs with power and associated certificates
    • Long and mid-term thermal physical PPAs with power and capacity
    • Hedging strategies and risk-management solutions
  • Managing risks to price complex deals assess exposures and optimize hedging strategies.
  • Model and evaluate commercial structures using financial and quantitative tools.

Market and regulatory expertise

  • Maintain expert-level understanding of MEM pricing trends and regulatory frameworks.
  • Identify market changes and translate them into business opportunities or risk mitigation strategies.

Procure upstream needs for supply portfolio

  • Ensure physical hedging through PPAs for B2B supply portfolio to meet regulatory requirements and minimize price exposure.

Cross-Functional collaboration

  • Work with legal team to draft and negotiate contracts (purchases and sales).
  • Coordinate with asset development renewable teams and generators to enable business growth.
  • Collaborate and align with internal risk control market intelligence and other teams involved to ensure deal approval in corresponding committees.
  • Work with portfolio management teams to ensure optimization and product allocation for B2B supply.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • A pertinent university degree (an MBA is advantageous).
  • Bachelor in finance science economics administration electrical engineering industrial engineering or similar.
  • 6 years of experience in comparable position

Languages:

Proficiency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).Our Commitment to
