Speciality: Urgent Care / Veteran Affairs Physicals & Examinations Reports To: Medical Director Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Perform VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations and medical disability evaluations
- Conduct focused physical exams and document findings thoroughly and accurately
- Complete structured medical documentation and required reporting
- Perform other examinations as needed which may include:
- Occupational health physicals
- Pre-employment physicals
- Return-to-work and clearance exams
- Preventive and wellness screenings
- Provide professional respectful and compassionate care to all patients
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
- Completes appropriate paperwork to comply with insurance and reimbursement guidelines.*
- Completes all documentation and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.*
- Manages personal clinical inbox.*
- Attends provider meetings as requested.*
- Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.*
Education and Experience: - Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Colorado
- Board certification required
- Experience in Urgent Care Family Practice Occupational Medicine or Physical Examinations preferred
- Strong documentation and assessment skills
- Ability to perform thorough structured exams efficiently
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Experience with disability or impairment evaluations (preferred)
- Military or Veteran patient populations (preferred)
Certificates and Licenses: - State of Colorado Medical License
- DEA certificate
- BLS/CPR certificate
- ACLS/PALS certification
- Loyal Source VA Certified Provider (or willingness to obtain)
