This is an opportunity to join the team that transforms the sports landscape and creates a legacy of excitement engagement and the role: The Food & Beverage Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery quality and compliance of all food and beverage services across the State Sport Centres Trust venues including Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre Lakeside Stadium State Netball & Hockey Centre and the State Basketball to the Senior Food & Beverage Manager this role supports the management of supplier contracts operational performance customer service and strategic initiatives across cafés kiosks functions and event outlets. This role is based at MSAC in Albert Park but will work across all SSC venues as required to support event delivery which will include nights and weekends as Operations Manager collaborates with internal teams external contractors and venue stakeholders to ensure high-quality service standards effective event delivery and strong business growth. The position also contributes to reporting menu planning financial monitoring safety compliance and continuous improvement across all F&B the Food & Beverage Operations Manager your primary responsibilities will include:Work with Events and Operations teams to understand requirements and ensure seamless F&B delivery for all events including major event days and match operationsManage liquor stock ordering POS setup pricing COGS RSA compliance invoicing and reconciliation across relevant venuesProvide onsite operational support and coordinate both inhouse and outsourced catering services across all SSCT venuesSupport the implementation and management of outsourced catering contracts and key supplier agreementsContribute to strategies that enhance cost efficiencies maximise margins and support workforce planning training and complianceUse client feedback to improve service quality and assist with financial reporting budgeting and the development of catering policies and proceduresRequired skills and Qualifications:Current Victorian Working with Childrens Check (Employee)Full Australian working rightsCurrent Responsible Service of Alcohol CertificateCurrent Food Safety Supervisor CertificateCurrent Working with Children CheckCurrent Provide First Aid and CPR qualificationsWhy is this a great place to workYou will love working at the State Sports Centres.
