| Position Summary: | This position is accountable for the daily functions of talent acquisition training employee leave and all facets of employee relations from onboarding to offboarding. This role ensures adherence to HR policies employment regulations and organizational procedures while reducing legal risks safeguarding the organizations reputation and fostering a positive workplace environment. | Essential Job Functions: | - Collaborate with hiring managers to actively identify position requirements and changes; improve recruitment processes to meet hiring needs.
- Prepare and maintain job descriptions; post open positions; assist in applicant screening; schedule interviews; coordinate pre-employment screenings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants providing updates feedback and timely responses throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate new hire orientation document preparation and integration into the workplace.
- Maintain knowledge of and ensure all hiring activities comply with local state and federal employment laws.
- Spearhead the recruitment initiatives by developing recruiting campaigns engaging in job fairs and advocating for challenging roles.
- Leverage the HRIS system to monitor departmental analytics analyze trends convert data into actionable insights and identify opportunities for solutions and improvements.
- Organize and analyze new hire surveys conducted at 30 60 and 90 days to identify new hire experience improvements.
- Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries resolve issues assist supervisors with disciplinary actions terminations and conflict resolution adhering to the organizations policies and procedures federal state and local laws.
- Support management across all domains by providing guidance and training for constructive employee communication performance evaluations and goal setting.
- Encourage an open-door policy and appropriately manage and refer employee concerns to the appropriate manager or executive.
- Adhere and administer policies and procedures in support of the organizations mission vision and culture statements.
- Ensure the HRIS system employee files and I-9 documents are accurate and maintained.
- Coordinate and maintain employee training programs and records professional development ensure proper documentation of all required professional employee licensure.
- Facilitate and manage ADA Accommodation requests disability leave requests Workers Comp FMLA documentation.
- Take initiative to continually evaluate human resource processes looking for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Manage unemployment claims and attend appeal hearings.
- Provide back-up support for benefits and payroll.
- Prepare the quarterly employee newsletter.
- Other duties as assigned.
