This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers food service customers and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry beef egg alternative protein salt oils starches sweeteners cocoa and chocolate.


Job Type: Full Time
Shift Available: Rotating 12 hours Day Shift
Pay Range: $22/hr - $27/hr

A typical Work Day May Include:

  • Operation of packaging equipment and forklift
  • Input production related data in computer systems such as SAP
  • Create and apply product labels in accordance with regulatory and quality standards
  • Collect finished product samples and perform quality testing
  • Monitor Bag Weights on scale
  • Minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Repalletizing / disposal of distressed product
  • Performing required production tasks to prepare equipment for the packaging of different products and packaging types
  • Unloading and loading trucks/trailers and our warehouse racking system of materials supplies and finished product
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety trainings food safety sanitation housekeeping hygiene and environmental policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending lifting up to 50 lbs kneeling climbing crawling and twisting safely with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat cold dust loud noise etc. with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends holidays or different shifts with advance notice
  • Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment



What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Prior experience in production-related work
  • High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
  • Experience operating forklifts and/or similar equipment
  • Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
