Role Summary
We are looking for a Certified TAB Technician to lead the testing adjusting and balancing of HVAC air and water systems in large-scale commercial and industrial projects. You will be responsible for ensuring mechanical systems operate at peak efficiency strictly adhering to design specifications and union standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Technical Execution: Perform TAB of HVAC air and hydronic systems to meet project design parameters.
- Diagnostic & Measurement: Use calibrated TAB instruments to measure and document system performance.
- Technical Interpretation: Analyze blueprints mechanical specifications and TAB procedures for precise field execution.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports and maintain fluid communication with Project Managers and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Mandatory Certification: Current certification by NEBB AABC or TABB.
- Experience: 25 years of direct hands-on experience in TAB functions within commercial or industrial settings.
- Skills: Advanced ability to read mechanical drawings and use precision measurement instruments.
- Mobility: Valid drivers license and willingness to work on-site in the Houston area.
