This Opportunity:

The Director of Operations Outpatient Services is primarily responsible for supervising planning coordinating providing leadership and directing clinical and administrative activities for outpatient therapists under the leadership of the Vice President of Operations for Outpatient Services.

What Youll Do:

  • System Setup and Monitoring: Oversee the setup and monitoring of systems to ensure the effective accurate and timely completion of clinical and administrative duties for outpatient therapists. This includes ensuring adherence to agency-specific timelines and evidence-based practices for the assigned service line(s). Responsibilities include overseeing processes such as timesheets payables billing clinical supervision staff education HR processes triage emergency services delivery and clinical documentation.

  • Assessment and Service Plan Development: Ensure that each individual served has a clinically-based medically necessary and culturally sensitive assessment and service plan forming the foundation for all service provision.

  • Staff Communication: Develop and maintain clear communication systems for staff including regular staff meetings communication memos one-on-one updates and effective communication across shifts teams divisions consultants outside agencies families and management.

  • Staff Scheduling and Operations: Establish systems to ensure staff schedules and daily operations meet the needs of individuals being supported.

  • Incident Investigation and Follow-up: Investigate clinical operation incidents and complaints received both internally and externally and provide necessary supervisory follow-up.

  • Supervision and Oversight: Provide effective clinical and administrative supervision to assigned staff in accordance with agency guidelines.

  • Program and Service Development: Develop proposals for new programs/services or changes to existing services and present them to Executive Management. Ensure all services are based on best practices or emerging best practice guidelines and protocols.

  • Referral Source Development: Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with referral sources including individuals families staff monitoring and licensing agencies organizations and funders.

  • Community Engagement: Attend and take leadership roles in community meetings within the assigned Outpatient services area and cross-functional team meetings.

  • Meeting Attendance and Participation: Attend and actively participate in provider meetings with funding sources audits surveys staff meetings agency meetings board meetings and other relevant meetings pertaining to outpatient therapy services.

  • Compliance Monitoring: Stay informed of internal and external standards and ensure systems are in place to monitor program compliance and auditing.

  • Policy and Regulatory Compliance: Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with agency policies procedures and applicable state and federal regulations related to program areas.

  • Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets for outpatient therapy services in coordination with the Vice President of Operations and the budget officer. Ensure fiscal responsibility in alignment with Executive Management guidelines.

  • On-Call Participation: Participate in the agency on-call structure as needed.

  • Travel Requirements: Travel may be required for this position.

  • Training Maintenance: Maintain required and requested training certifications.

  • Emergency Procedures: Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations when necessary.

  • Agency Policy Adherence: Adhere to all agency policies and procedures.

  • Additional Responsibilities: Complete any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Education Were Looking For:

Masters: Human Services (Required)

Certifications Were Looking For:

Drivers License (Valid) - USA Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) - State Board of Licensed Professional Counselors Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - State Social Work Certification and Licensure Board Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) - State Marriage and Family Therapy Licensure Board

Experience Were Looking For:

Experience as a fully licensed therapist. 5 Years Required Senior Leadership with Progressing Experience 5 - 7 Years Required

Schedule:

Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)
