Assistant Underwriter role

As an Assistant Underwriter youll gain hands-on experience in a relationship-driven role that blends analytical thinking with a customer focus.

- Minimum Starting Salary: $83400 inclusive of 12% Super
- Location: Brisbane
What youll do
- Support underwriting of new business renewals and mid-term alterations
- Review assess and triage submissions in line with underwriting guidelines and delegated authority
- Provide underwriting processing and administrative support to Underwriters
- Deliver excellent service to brokers and customers meeting agreed turnaround times
- Assist in achieving portfolio financial targets including GWP and margins
- Collaborate closely with Distribution Claims Pricing Actuarial and Risk teams
- Ensure compliance with governance risk and audit requirements
