The Role
Teaching Photography across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with portfolio development coursework and exam preparation
Teaching digital editing software camera techniques composition and visual analysis
Encouraging independent creative thinking and technical skill development
Contributing to exhibitions displays and enrichment activities
Working collaboratively within a supportive Art & Design team
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Photography Art & Design or a related creative discipline
Experience teaching Photography at secondary level
Strong technical knowledge of photography equipment and editing software
High expectations for pupil engagement creativity and achievement
A professional organised and innovative teaching approach
