We are seeking to appoint a caring enthusiastic and reliable Midday Assistant to join our dedicated team and support our pupils during the lunchtime period.
This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of a vibrant school community where relationships are strong behaviour is positive and children enjoy their time both in and out of the classroom.
Position Details:
- 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)
- 12:00-13:00
- 1 hour per day (lunchtime) so 5 hours per week.
- Term time only (38 weeks)
- Ideally Full Time but Part Time also considered
Immediate start required subject to satisfactory DBS result and references.
The Role:
As a Midday Assistant you will play a key role in ensuring that our pupils have a safe happy and enjoyable lunchtime experience. Duties will include supervising children in the dining hall and playground encouraging positive play and supporting good behaviour in line with the schools values.

- Enjoys working with children and can build positive relationships with them
- Is patient caring and approachable
- Can promote good behaviour and model respect and kindness
- Is able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with staff
- Shows initiative and can respond calmly to situations as they arise
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
