Job Summary

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Retail inventory and product lifecycle management. This role will serve as a key liaison between IT and business units ensuring functional requirements are clearly defined documented and validated across systems that support distribution centers (DCs) stores and end customers.

The ideal candidate understands how product flows from inventory management through distribution centers to stores and customers and can operate effectively within a hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Elicit analyze and document detailed business requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to define functional requirements
Identify and document impacted systems across the enterprise
Conduct requirements walkthroughs with cross-functional teams and vendor partners
Assist in writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria
Prioritize features and functionality for sprint planning
Develop comprehensive test plans based on documented requirements
Facilitate UAT and coordinate with Testing Analysts and QE teams
Ensure delivered solutions meet documented business needs

Required Qualifications:

5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Strong experience in the Retail industry
Solid understanding of inventory management distribution center operations and retail store processes
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira Confluence)
Comfortable working in Agile Waterfall and hybrid environments
Strong requirements gathering and process documentation skills
Experience facilitating testing with business stakeholders
Ability to validate solutions against business requirements
Experience creating test plans from requirements
