About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Litigation Associate (3 5 years) to join our expanding general litigation practice in Providence. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of complex corporate and commercial disputes while playing a meaningful role in case strategy client communication and courtroom advocacy.

You will work closely with experienced litigators and sophisticated business clients gaining hands-on exposure to every stage of litigation. Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and argue substantive motions and participate in hearings and trials
• Take and defend depositions
• Manage all aspects of discovery including drafting requests and responses
• Prepare pleadings and develop case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal and factual issues
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case strategy developments and outcomes
• Assist with trial preparation including witness preparation and exhibit management
• Manage multiple active matters efficiently and meet all deadlines

Qualifications:

• Admission to the bar of at least one state and in good standing; must become admitted in Rhode Island within six months
• Additional admission in Massachusetts and/or Connecticut strongly preferred
• 3 5 years of commercial litigation experience
• Strong legal research writing and analytical skills
• Demonstrated motion practice and deposition experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Practical solutions-oriented approach to client service
