Job Description:

A Site Engineer for Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Erectionmanages the on-site installation of steel structures coordinating teams ensuring safety compliance and overseeing quality control for projects. They are responsible for day-to-day planning erecting structural steel managing sheeting processes and ensuring projects are completed within budget and on tim

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Execution:Supervise the erection of main frames purlins and cladding ensuring accurate alignment and tightening.
Safety Enforcement:Implement strict safety protocols including scaffolding safety crane operations and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
Quality Control:Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with drawings specifications and IS codes/AISC/MBMA standards.
Material Coordination:Manage unloading inventory and inventory tracking of materials to prevent shortages.
Documentation & Reporting:Prepare daily progress reports material consumption reports and maintain project documentation.
Team Leadership:Lead erection teams sub-contractors and crane operators to ensure smooth workflow.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:Bachelors degree or Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Experience:2 to 8 years in PEB erection structural steel fabrication and site supervision.
Technical Knowledge:Proficiency in reading structural erection drawings understanding fabrication methods and knowledge of safety standards.
Software Skills:Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software is often required for checking drawings.
Soft Skills:Strong communication troubleshooting abilities and team management skills.

Typical Working Conditions

Full-time on-site role.
Physical presence required at construction sites involving working at heights and in varying weather conditions.
