An established IT services business is seeking a hands-on IT Technical Support professional to provide onsite first and second-line support. This role is ideal for someone confident supporting users across hardware Microsoft 365 identity management and core network troubleshooting.
Essential Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
Technical Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in an onsite IT support or service desk role (first and second-line support)
- Strong hands-on experience supporting Windows desktops and laptops
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook Teams OneDrive SharePoint)
- Experience managing identities and access in Active Directory / Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Proven experience with user onboarding and offboarding (account setup access management)
- Solid hardware troubleshooting skills (PCs laptops printers peripherals)
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP LAN Wi-Fi VPN troubleshooting)
- Experience using ticketing systems and maintaining accurate support documentation
User Support & Communication
- Strong customer service mindset comfortable supporting non-technical users
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide user training and system guidance
- Professional patient and approachable attitude
Organisation & Work Ethic
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Comfortable working independently in an onsite environment
- Strong attention to detail when documenting and following procedures
- Reliable punctual and responsive during business hours
