About the role
Calvary North Adelaide Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized CSSD Loan Kit Coordinator to oversee the coordination tracking and processing of surgical loan instrument trays and specialty kits. This role is critical to ensuring surgical cases proceed safely and on schedule by managing the intake documentation sterilization workflow and return of loaned instrumentation.
The ideal candidate will have experience in sterile processing strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospital environment
Your main duties will include:
Coordinate all incoming and outgoing surgical loaner instrument trays and vendor kits
Communicate with vendors operating theatre staff and surgical schedulers to confirm case needs and delivery timelines
- Ensure proper decontamination assembly sterilisation and documentation in accordance with AS-5369 and hospital standards
Ensure timely return of vendor trays following surgical procedures
Identify and escalate missing damaged or incomplete instruments
About you
Knowledge of sterilisation methods surgical instrumentation and infection control standards
Experience with instrument tracking systems
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Certificate III or higher in Sterilisation Services
