We are looking for a Financial Crime Business Operations Manager Financial Crime (Asset Management) for an initial sixmonth fixed term contract role based in London. This role follows a hybrid working model.

Purpose of the Role

The Financial Crime Business Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Financial Crime Asset Management ensuring the effective coordination and delivery of operational governance and strategic activities across the Financial Crime function. This position supports the smooth running of the function by driving operational discipline and enabling communication and engagement across teams.

The successful candidate will be highly organised proactive and comfortable operating in a complex fastpaced environment while working closely with 1LoD and 2LoD stakeholders.

What Youll Do

Operational & Strategic Support

  • Act as a key partner to the Head of Financial Crime Asset Management providing highquality operational support and strategic oversight across the function.
  • Coordinate the running of the Financial Crime leadership team ensuring agendas are forwardlooking and actions are tracked and delivered on time.
  • Coordinate with the Governance and MI team the MI production cycles ensuring the accuracy clarity and consistency of Financial Crime reporting.
  • Provide challenge and insight into operational risks prioritisation and process improvements.

Financial Crime Operational Readiness

  • Act as the central coordination point for operational and businessasusual activities across Financial Crime in Asset Management.
  • Support execution and tracking of Financial Crime change initiatives across Asset Management
  • Manage cross-functional interactions and ensure effective escalation issue tracking and timely delivery of commitments.

People & Team Management Support

  • Assist with workforce planning hiring processes onboarding and capability development.
  • Coordinate the delivery of communications engagement materials and function-wide updates.

Process Risk and Control Oversight

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure processes and controls are embedded and operate effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure actions linked to reviews risk events and thematic reviews are tracked.
  • Identify operational risks and propose enhancements to strengthen control environments.

The Skills Youll Need

Experience and Capabilities

  • Proven experience in a Business Manager Chief of Staff PMO Manager or similar role within Financial Services.
  • understanding of Financial Crime risks preferably within the Asset Management industry.
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation capabilities with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to distil complex information into clear and compelling materials.
  • Experience collaborating with Senior Stakeholders across 1LoD and 2LoD.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint Excel Teams) and
  • Familiarity with risk/governance tools such as MetricStream.
