Overview
Our Finance Shared Services (FSS) located in Bengaluru India is looking to strengthen its teams in preparation of an imminent Global finance transformation with exciting new positions being created in multiple functions.

Your role
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities including journal entries accruals and adjustments.
- Preparing and posting of prepayments and recharge journals
- Assist in preparation of financial statements management reports and variance analysis
- Review and proactively resolve issues relating to missing time and associated earnings
- Thorough review of overheads and proactive challenge and resolution of issues and errors
- Understand monitor and communicate key drivers behind the salary control account process
- Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
- Review and validate lease agreements including rent escalations incentives dilaps and lease modifications.
About you
Professional & Technical skills:
- 3 to 6 years of experience working in the accounting function of a sizeable international company
- Technically proficient in preparing and reviewing management accounts budget and forecasts
- Good inter-personal skills and comfortable in dealing with senior colleagues
- Experience in working for a consultancy business especially an engineering consultancy would be a significant advantage
- Knowledge and experience of the following would be an advantage: Oracle ERP; Oracle EPM (ePBCS)
- Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills (VLOOKUP Pivot Tables formulas etc.) and exposure to Power BI
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize own workload
- Strong sense of ownership drive and ability to deliver results
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Good team player with positive attitude
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze information and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree Preferably BCom / Masters degree
- Part qualified CA CMA ACCA (not mandatory)
Additional Information:
- Working hours: 10am 7.30pm (India Standard Time) but flexibility will be required. The candidate must be available to work UK hours at month-ends.
- Work Location: Yelahanka Bangalore
- Candidate must have required infrastructure to enable remote working
