The role
Step into a role where youll help bring meaningful partnerships to life across the Botanic Gardens of Sydney. As a Partnerships Officer youll support programs that connect organisations volunteers and supporters with our iconic gardenshelping to nurture relationships deliver engagement activities and coordinate initiatives that generate revenue and strengthen community impact. Youll be handson with everything from corporate volunteering sessions to partner events hospitality allocations and daytoday coordination that keeps our partnership programs moving.

Youll thrive in a fastpaced environment where no two days feel the same. With competing priorities and a wide mix of stakeholders youll help manage communication channels organise schedules keep documentation on track and support the delivery of partnership strategiesall while building strong positive relationships internally and externally.

This hybrid role offers flexibility while ensuring strong on-site collaboration. Youll work 5 days a fortnight in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney officewith occasional visits to our Mount Annan and Mount Tomah sites each quarter.

What you will bring to the role

  • Experience managing corporate or stakeholder relationships in partnerships fundraising sponsorship business development or marketing environments.
  • Strong coordination skills with experience supporting events engagement activities or multistakeholder programs.
  • Highlevel customer service skills and confidence engaging with partners volunteers donors and organisational stakeholders.
  • Excellent technology capabilitycomfort with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) CRM systems Canva and workflow tools such as Asana with the ability to manage communication channels schedules and reporting efficiently.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines maintain accurate documentation and support reporting requirements.
  • Clear and confident communication skills able to tailor messages create engaging content and collaborate across teams to share information and solve problems.
  • A proactive supportive and relationshipfocused mindsetcomfortable adapting to change prioritising well and helping deliver seamless partnership experiences.


What is an essential requirement:

  • Ability to work outside of normal working hours and on weekends if required.
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Satisfactory criminal history check required.
