The role
The Senior Manager Open Space Stakeholders and Partnerships will lead and support open space programs to meet organisational goals oversee engagement strategies and provide expert advice on stakeholder issues. The role fosters collaboration with state and local government agencies and community organisations integrating community and stakeholder interests into programs and planning to enhance impact.
You will prepare and draft high-quality written materials including engagement strategies advocacy plans briefing documents and reports tailored to different audiences ensuring inclusivity and accessibility in all engagement strategies and overcoming participation barriers.
We have so many exciting projects for NSW including Places to Swim Parks for People and the NSW Open Space Strategy where you will lead community and stakeholder engagement build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including state agencies local governments and professional organisations to support project delivery and advocacy of the value of public open space.

You will bring strong skills in developing implementing and analysing community and stakeholder engagement strategies tailored to varied audiences and objectives. Youll be ready to quickly government policies regulations and legislative requirements relevant to open space management and planning and youll have tertiary qualification or relevant experience in a related discipline (essential).
