Job Summary
GOLF COURSE SHOP STAFF/STARTER - GOLF DIVISION
DEPARTMENT: Public Services
DIVISION: Golf
WORK HOURS: Very Flexible Part-Time Schedules Must be able to work any day of the week day or night including holidays and weekends. Position available approximately from March through October
RATE OF PAY: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour dependent on qualifications. Wage dependent on prior experience as a Golf Course Staff/Starter.
Golf shop starters will be responsible for executing the opening interim and closing procedures for the golf shop daily. Will be responsible for taking reservations registering players collecting green fees and cart fees keeping the tee on schedule selling golf shop merchandise issuing rental equipment and doing the daily reports and deposits. Will work closely with the golf professional and assist with other duties as assigned. Basic golf knowledge and customer service skills will be essential for these positions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid Utah Drivers License.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Include but are not limited to prolonged standing walking sitting climbing stooping kneeling and crawling.
- Must be able to see and hear and speak.
- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds.
- Will be required to work in inclement weather conditions.
CRIMINAL HISTORY BACKGROUND CHECK
Successful applicant must pass background check.
MOTOR VEHICLE REPORT
Driving record of successful applicant will be obtained by the HR Office.
