Job Summary
**Position Overview: Assurance Experienced Senior Associate**
The Assurance Experienced Senior Associate is tasked with overseeing daily audit operations including planning fieldwork and wrap-up activities.
Key responsibilities involve the preparation of financial statements and necessary disclosures with a thorough application of relevant GAAP standards. The associate will document validate test and evaluate various internal control systems.
Additionally this role requires acting as the primary client contact for routine inquiries and may also encompass participation in reviews and agreed-upon procedure engagements.
**Compensation:**Salary will be aligned with the candidates experience and qualifications.
**Qualifications:**
**Education:**
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Economics or Statistics is required. A Bachelors degree in a related field paired with CPA certification is also acceptable. A Masters degree in Accountancy is preferred.
**Experience:**
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in audit public accounting private industry accounting or professional consulting services is required. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
**Licenses/Certifications:**
- Candidates must be eligible to sit for the CPA examinations upon commencing employment and actively pursue completion of these exams. A CPA certification is preferred.
**Technical Skills:** - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. Experience with assurance-related software and research tools is also advantageous.
**Knowledge Skills and Competencies:**
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities are essential.- Strong skills in people development and delegation are necessary.
- The candidate must exhibit executive presence serving effectively as the primary client liaison.
- Capable of managing all phases of the audit process from planning through fieldwork to wrap-up.
- Expertise in conducting audits for complex organizations is required.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements with disclosures that adhere to GAAP standards is essential.
