Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and assessments in a radiology setting
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging studies
- Provide patient education regarding procedures and imaging results
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
- Stay current with advancements in radiology practices and technologies
Requirements
- Associates degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
- Current NP or PA licensure in the state of Massachusetts
- Experience in a radiology or similar medical setting is preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on patient-centered care
- Basic proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-4:30p
No call weekends or holidays
Daily Volume: 10 port procedures
High-acuity patient population
Required Skills: Pre- and post-care for line placements port insertion and removal central venous access consents orders moderate sedation assessments ASA and airways H&P pre-procedure evaluations and discharges
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
