Job Summary
Bay-CSS is hiring a Part-Time Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Leonardtown MD offering a competitive pay rate of $21 per hour for Monday to Friday shifts with an additional $2 shift differential on Saturday and Sunday. The DSP will be responsible for providing compassionate care to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting during the hours of Monday to Thursday from 3 pm to 10 pm.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Must have a valid drivers license reliable transportation and car insurance
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Ability to pass a background check
- Completion of all required trainings within the specified time frame
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities including meal preparation personal hygiene and medication administration
- Provide emotional support and engage residents in recreational activities
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Document and report any changes in residents well-being
- Adhere to individualized care plans and collaborate with the care team effectively
Schedule:
The position requires working Monday to Thursday from 3 pm to 10 pm with flexibility for additional shifts on weekends. The schedule must be followed as presented to ensure continuity of care for the residents.
