Job Summary
Sand Valley is a golf resort and community settled gently upon 12000 acres of rugged pre-historic sand dunes in central Wisconsin. Here residents and guests will find six world-class golf courses built in harmony with the land: Sand Valley Mammoth Dunes Sandbox The Lido Sedge Valley and Commons. Position Summary
- Join our team as a Retail Operations Associate and gain hands-on experience in retail logistics supply chain inventory management and world class resort customer service. Support our retail team in ensuring smooth product movement inventory accuracy merchandising restocking retail plans & selling of product while contributing to operational improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Stock organize and maintain the store and ensure cleanliness.
- Inventory Counts: Assist with monthly physical inventory counts.
- Logistics Support: Tracking of inventory levels assisting in transfer orders & receipt of product.
- Warehouse Coordination: Support efficient stocking and minimize delays.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Update inventory systems and assist with logistics reports.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist with picking packing and shipping orders.
- Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to enhance all retail operations.
- Customer Service Support: Assist golf staff to ensure excellent customer service.
- High school diploma required.
- Enrollment in a two- or four-year degree program in Retail Merchandising Marketing Supply Chain Logistics or a related field preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail and organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word); logistics software knowledge a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
- Collaborative team player with a problem-solving mindset.
- At least one year of experience in retail golf shop or customer service preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability including nights and weekends.
