Business Unit Port Services are the one-stop global port services partner powered by deep equipment expertise. Our range of port services starts with equipment maintenance and increases alongside any terminals evolution where we are continuously expanding the boundaries of our customers operational efficiency. We are looking for a strategic and business-minded Regional Frontline Director APAC to lead the Port Services Frontlines in the region. Port Services operates frontline teams across Australia New Zealand Singapore Malaysia India China and Indonesia.
This role belongs to our Service Frontlines Business Line which is the Port Services channel to market and create a local footprint. The Service Frontlines are responsible for customer service in their respective regions and countries providing the first point of contact and first-class service for our customers. Each Frontline includes all necessary functions to provide the whole Services scope to the customer in their market such as Spare Parts Sales Field Service Project Management and first level customer support.
As the regional leader of our frontlines in the APAC region you are an experienced leader with a proven track-record on leading a profitable P&L business. Your customer-centric inspiring and collaborative approach ensures your team members are engaged to deliver the best-in-class service to our customers to support their operational efficiency.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Generating growth and improving profitability within the region.
- Identifying and implementing synergies across the region through harmonized processes tools and ways of working to support scalable growth within the business unit.
- Developing and implementing a regional service network that includes suppliers customers authorities and other partners such as dealers and agents.
- Defining implementing and adjusting the regional strategy in alignment with Port Services goals and company values.
- Driving a strong culture of growth collaboration and customercentricity among key stakeholders and within the region.
- Developing and enhancing firstlevel customer support within the region and its frontlines.
- Raising skill levels across the region in a holistic manner to support the continuous development of employees the organization and the business.
- Implementing and expanding the service portfolio within the region.
- Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards
Qualifications :
What we expect from you
To succeed in this position you are expected to have:
- Masters degree in Engineering or Business is preferred.
- 510 years of solid experience in the manufacturing industry within a global business environment. Experience in the ports industry is an advantage.
- Proven track record of leading a profitable multimillion P&L.
- Experience managing multicountry teams within a matrix organization.
- Strong intercultural competence and experience working in international multicultural environments.
- Excellent communication collaboration negotiation and listening skills.
- Empathetic leadership style with strong determination to implement the vision and build meaningful connections.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and strong target orientation to drive results.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze markets anticipate change and drive growth plans.
- Strong coaching abilities with effectiveness in delegation and expectation management.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel globally.
