Job Summary

Robert Bosch South Africa is a leading provider of innovative tracking solutions in South Africa. With a commitment to reliability customer satisfaction and technological advancement we help our clients gain visibility enhance efficiency and protect their valuable assets. We are searching for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in South Africa. DThis role requires a proactive approach to sales strong relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of the South African market duties will include but are not limited to: 

New Business Development:

  • Actively prospect identify and qualify new leads within target industries (e.g. logistics transportation construction agriculture mining rental fleets security personal use).
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client challenges and pain points.
  • Develop and present compelling tailored solutions that demonstrate the value and ROI of our tracking products.
  • Cold calling email outreach networking and attending industry events to generate new opportunities.

Sales Cycle Management:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close including proposal generation negotiation and contract finalization.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with new clients ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients offering ongoing support and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

Market Intelligence & Product Knowledge:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends competitor activities and market developments in the South African tracking and telematics sector.
  • Continuously develop in-depth product knowledge of our entire tracking solutions portfolio including hardware software and services.
  • Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams based on market insights and customer needs.

Reporting & Administration:

  • Prepare regular sales reports forecasts and pipeline updates for management
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding pricing discounts and sales processes.
  • Manage personal travel and entertainment expenses effectively.

 

 


Qualifications :

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business Marketing or a related field preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets

Experience 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven successful B2B sales experience preferably within the tracking telematics fleet management IoT or a related technology industry in South Africa.
  • Experience selling to a diverse range of industries within the South African market.

Skills 

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Fluent in English (both written and verbal). Proficiency in additional South African official languages is a strong advantage
  • Strong Negotiation & Closing Skills: Ability to effectively negotiate and close deals.
  • Self-Motivated & Results-Oriented: Proactive disciplined and driven to achieve targets independently.
  • Excellent Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver compelling presentations to individuals and groups. 
  • Relationship Builder: Natural ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Problem-Solver: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify client needs and propose suitable solutions. 
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn and articulate technical product features and benefits.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Valid Drivers License & Own Reliable Transport: Essential for client visits and travel across South Africa. 
  • Flexibility to Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within South Africa as required.
