Job Summary
Blue & Co. LLC () is currently seeking a Revenue Cycle Consultant to join our revenue cycle team. This is a unique position that involves working in a fast-paced professional services environment assisting our hospital clients with improvements impacting the capture management and collection of patient service revenue. This position requires an individual with a consultative mindset as a trusted advisor and service provider including a strong relationship orientation creative problem-solving skills with an objective yet persuasive approach.
The successful candidate will assist hospitals with revenue cycle management (front-end and back-end operations) including patient access point-of-service collections billing follow-up denial management and resolution. This role requires strong interpersonal and analytical skills along with the ability to lead a variety of client engagements including process assessments and implementation services.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle operations.
- Knowledge of hospital revenue cycle operations.
- Knowledge of Medicare billing regulations.
- Experience with financial billing and reimbursement data.
- Proficiency with hospital systems such as EPIC MEDITECH Cerner CPSI Soarian McKesson or SMS is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
- Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities of multiple projects.
- Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Travel of up to 5 - 10% overnight required mostly to regional clients prospects or events.
