As Intern - Manufacturing Engineer you will collaborate with your team in order to create processes that meet drawing requirements have high yield minimize risk of deviation/scrap and meet required production rates.
Job Description
Essential Resposabilities
Participate in design manufacturing router and documentation according to company procedures and customer requirements
Support in providing manufacturing method development and improvement for current and new products
Support in the application Design for Manufacturing principles working with a cross functional team to ensure 6-Sigma process capability and stable process
Work with manufacturing engineers and manufacturing shop personnel to validate processes tools equipment
Support design fixtures tooling and equipment for production and new product development
Contribute to the determination of safe manufacturing processes that produce a quality product in the most efficient method of production
Pursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reductions in designated areas
Assist supervisors and production employees in resolving manufacturing process problems through a drive to root cause and permanent corrective actions
Support the achievement of all objectives including safety quality and productivity
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Aeronautical or Aerospace Mechanical Energy Material or Management Engineering
Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook Excel Word and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of engineering drawings/specifications and manufacturing processes
Willingness to learn from others and to work in team
Curious and eager to learn
Fluent Italian and English
Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Able to coordinate many tasks concurrently
Integrity and confidentiality
Intercultural openness ability to think out of the box
