Job Summary

The UNM Medical Group Inc. is seeking an Full-time Project Coordinator to work in our Truman Health Services Team. This candidate must be an excellent communicator with a desire to be part of a great team!

Minimum $52038 - Midpoint $65043*

*Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.

*Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. The work schedule is Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. This is an on-site position with limited remote work options.

This position will report to the Manager Clinical and Quality Programs.

Summary

The Project Coordinator provides organizational administrative and project support to ensure the successful planning execution and tracking of departmental initiatives. This role collaborates with leadership team members and stakeholders to coordinate meetings and events document outcomes and communicate project updates.

The Project Coordinator supports the development and maintenance of project plans tracks action items and deadlines and prepares and maintains project documentation and reports. The role also assists with data collection analysis and reporting to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Strong organizational analytical and communication skills are essential along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint is required with the ability to learn additional tools as needed. Additional administrative and project-related duties may be assigned

Minimum Job Requirements of a Project Coordinator:

Bachelors Degree in related field and 1 year related experience. Related education and experience may be substituted for one another on a year for year basis. Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.

Priority will be provided to candidates who are:

  • Experienced working in a community based multi-disciplinary setting.
  • Experience working with Excel Electronic Health Records Project Management Systems and Grant reporting systems
  • Experience translating complex project requirements and data into actionable insights for cross-functional teams and leadership
  • Experience coordinating multiple large scale projects at once
  • Experience coordinating multiple cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and successful delivery
  • Experience maintaining project timelines documentation and status reporting
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Project Coordinator:

  1. Works with leadership teammates and stakeholders to coordinate meetings sessions and events documents minutes and outcomes communicates information to project team members.
  2. Assist with the development maintenance and monitoring of project plans; following up on action items and decisions; developing and updating various types of documentation and reports.
  3. Display and present data/report in a variety of formats.
  4. Researches best practices; analyzes interprets and assesses various data.
  5. Monitors and records budget expenditures invoices and contracts for the assigned department.
  6. Provides administrative support to department.
  7. May perform basic project management and training.
