Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Costing and SAP Project System (PS) Subject Matter Expert to support the design and implementation of a large-scale digital transformation program. This role is critical to shaping the target finance architecture harmonizing financial data and enabling seamless integration of multiple source systems into SAP S/4HANA.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in S/4HANA Finance with strong knowledge of Project structures and costing and its integration with Controlling (CO) and General Ledger (GL) along with proven stakeholder engagement and design workshop facilitation capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
PS and FI/CO Integration: Ensure Project System transactions integrate accurately with Controlling and General Ledger enabling consolidated and transparent project financial reporting.
Overhead Costing Alignment: Define overhead costing structures costing sheets and allocation rules to ensure consistent and CAS-compliant cost allocation across source systems.
Assess and analyze business requirements for Project System Revenue Recognition methods based on cost leveraging standard SAP capabilities.
Cost Settlement and Reconciliation: Design robust settlement and reconciliation processes between source systems and S/4HANA to support accurate program- and project-level financial reporting.
S/4HANA General Ledger design including ledger concepts document splitting profit center and reporting.
Workshop Facilitation and Design Governance - Lead design workshops to define future-state project costing.
