Job Summary

TDC are seeking a Payroll Specialst who will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of end-to-end payroll services across the organisation. This role ensures compliance with relevant industrial instruments legislation and reporting obligations while supporting effective financial reporting and grant acquitals within a not-for-profit environment.

Key duties include:

Payroll operations end-to-end
Industrial and legislative compliance
Reporting and reconciliations
Statutory & End-of-year processing
Continuous improvement and support

About you:

Minimum 2 years experience in a payroll role delivering end-to-end payroll processing.
Demonstrated experience using Employment Hero (or similar payroll systems).
Proven ability to interpret and apply Awards and industrial instruments.
Experience processing payday superannuation and managing statutory payroll obligations.
Experience with STP reporting including end-of-year finalisation.
Sound understanding of FBT and salary packaging ideally within a not-for-profit environment.
Experience preparing payroll journals cost allocations and class code tracking.
Demonstrated experience reporting on wages for grant reconciliations and acquittals.
High level of accuracy attention to detail and confidentiality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in the not-for-profit or community services sector desirable
experience supporting payroll audits desirable.
