Sales Assistant Part time

Are you passionate about customer service Would you like to work in a colorful and inspiring workplace We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Sales Assistantto joinourteam based inthe Bristol Paints Capalaba store on apart-time basis.

Reportingto the store manager the successful candidate will provide customer service toassistin the sale of PPG products. The role will also involve some warehousing duties such asassistingwith storing and dispatching items.

The warehouse and storeare air-conditioned.

Previouspaint or hardware knowledgeisntessential to be successful in the role as full product training will be provided on the job.A forklift license is also something that would bebeneficial butisnta requirement to get the role.Werelooking for someone who is passionate about customer service and wants to progress in their career.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service andestablishrelationships with our customers.

• Collaborate with the Store Manager Store team & Trade team to improve sales potential within the store.

• Tinting and mixing paint pelletizing paint drums arranging orders for delivery and colour matching.

• Assistingwith product dispatching and storage.

• Deliveries using the Store vehicle (where applicable).

• Merchandise and replenish stock promptly and ensure it is presented well.

• Store housekeeping and following the stores safety standards.

• Manual Handling of 32 kgs.

Requirements

• Previousretail assistant experience with the desire to provide excellent customer service to our growing customer base. Youwontbe afraid to be hands-on daily in the store.

• Keen to learn new skills and have an invested interest in building yourexpertiseon our products.

• The roster will alternate between Monday to Friday one week and Tuesday to Saturday the next week.

• You will be comfortable with manual handling as part of your normal day. For example - lifting heavy paint tins (up to 32 kgs) pushing and pulling trolleys using pallet jacks standing forlong periods kneeling loading theutefor paint deliveries and doing the delivery and unloading on the other side.

• A valid drivers license is essential.

• Paint experience is not essential - training is provided.

• Forklift license will be highly regarded but not essential.
