Nearmap is looking for a Sales Development Manager to lead our Australian SDR team. This is a hands-on leadership role where youll be present on the floor in the recordings in the one-on-ones delivering live coaching and turning everyday calls into career-defining moments for your team. Were a global aerial imagery and geospatial technology company with a product people genuinely get excited about. Our SDR team is the engine that kicks off that excitement and youll be the one building that engine into something exceptional.

What youll actually be doing

Coaching not just managing. Youll spend meaningful time in Gong reviewing calls spotting patterns and running structured training sessions that sharpen your teams skills week over week. A minimum of 46 hours of call and skill training per rep per month because reps grow when the feedback is real and consistent.

Setting the standard. From prospecting discipline and CRM hygiene to call structure and pipeline handoff youll establish the fundamentals that make reps effective not just busy.

Driving pipeline. Youll work closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to define target accounts build and refine outreach cadences and make sure every rep has the leads and tools they need to hit quota.

Growing careers. Your north star isnt just the pipeline number its sending reps on to full-cycle AE roles better than they arrived. Thats the measure of a great SDR leader.

Keeping things running. Youll manage the day-to-day rhythms of the team: attendance scheduling reporting and operational accountability. The boring stuff matters and youll own it.


Qualifications :

What you bring

  • A track record as an individual contributor in an SDR or BDR function youve lived the role
  • 2 years of lead supervisory or direct management experience
  • Strong Salesforce skills and comfort with sales data and dashboards
  • The ability to coach across the full commercial spectrum from SMB to enterprise
  • High EQ clear communication and the energy to keep a junior team motivated and accountable
