Your Opportunity:

The Accountant will support with month-end processes ensuring accurate Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting across assigned markets. This role is responsible for expense accruals balance sheet reconciliations forecasting and maintaining accurate turnover reporting. You will manage rental and electricity payments vendor and landlord reconciliations and ensure property and lease data is up to date.

Working closely with Leasing and internal stakeholders you will provide variance commentary and support lease-related financial processes.

Responsible for an accurate Country ownership of Profit and Loss statement and Balance Sheet
All month end expense accruals including but not limited to rent electricity rates etc.
Review of country month end expense accrual files and provide commentary on variance.
Balance sheet reconciliations
Forecasting of Country rent electricity rates etc
Responsible for accurate Country turnover reporting in ProLease plus country aged trade creditor clearing entries
Approval and management of rental and electricity payments
Responsible for vendor statement reconciliations and bring the balances up to date with landlords
Responsible for cash deposit and fit-out contribution process for Lovisa business globally (new and renewals)
Ensure accurate Country monthly/yearly turnover declaration to Landlord is complete on timely basis.
Responsible for the Global half yearly accounting for Leases.

We are looking for the below skillset and experience:

Deep understanding of P&L and Balance sheet and their correlation
Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and pro-actively in a team environment.
A quest for excellence high attention to detail accuracy consistency and organisation
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the confidence to engage with stakeholders.
Experience with a property management software application
